If you are a true blood gamer, for sure you are going to love to have a job like this. But then there are a lot of things that you need to do before you get in here. It is not enough that you know something about games and you love playing video games although it is a factor.

Before becoming a video beta game tester, you will be called first to test some aspects in a computer game. After this, they will test if you know how to install cards, joysticks, and drivers. The knowledge of uninstalling and reinstalling operating system is really needed here.

If you don’t know anything about that then for sure they will not get you. So if you are really determined to be a video game beta tester, you must have enough knowledge about those things. If you already know those things then you are on your way.

Aside from that, you must also be methodical in your approach and you must have this keen eye of observing things. You will not just play a video game their, you will work. Your main work is to spot some glitches in a certain video game.

See if there is something irritating in a particular game. See and make good predictions about the problems that will arise in the future. You must be very patient in this job because noting errors is not that easy and it may take some time.

Aside from that, lots of researches are needed to be done.

The standard salary that you are going to get as a video game beta tester is about $10 per hour. But there is a big possibility that it will still go higher. That will really depend on you. Hard work is also important here to get high salary.

If you are hard working, you will be able to earn $50 per hour or more than that. But it will really take a lot of work and commitment to get there. This job will not last forever.

To be in this job in a long period of time, you must see to it that you apply to another game before your deadline arrives.
